Slice of Vinnie's

Can one of you peeps in Savannah, please, please, please overnight me a slice from Vinnie Van Go Go's?

Slice of cheese, no extra cheese...pop it in, pop it out...they'll know its for ME. I just got a MAD craving for a slice of good pie. Not San Diego pizza, but a really, really good tasting slice.

On the East Coast I wanted In-N-Out, now on the West Coast I want Vinnie's!

Simple as it may seem, too many place put out subpar product. Its the little things; the subtle tastes that makes a good pizza. The flavor of the pizza dough (there are differences), the flavor of the tomato sauce(type of tomatoes used, vinnies adds garlic), the quality of the cheese (Vinnie's uses high quality) and lastly consistancy of the overall pie. I had some good stuff sometimes, then the next visit the crust is flavorless (cracker) or there is a burnt flavor(not cleaning the oven enough). There has been more bad than good. Vinnie's is my bench mark, that all pizza is cmpared to.

Sushi Pizza- Layer of sushi nori, sushi rice, another layer of sushi nori, topped with the dynamite (Mixture of maguro, hamachi, sake with japanese mayo and a touch of sriracha), topped with mozzarella cheese. Baked till the cheese is golden brown. Top pieces with paper thin sliced scallions (optional). hmmmmm...
